Over the christmas holidays i didn't do a whole lot of gaming, i was enjoying my stay in Turkey :)
Although i did bring my PSP with a "new" game, and i did have a few moments were i took it out to play a little.
That game was Star Wars The Force Unleashed.
I played two sessions until i got stuck in a wall and had to do the entire level again :(
So not a whole lot of gaming done, but still having lots of fun :)

The Ultimate Quest - Update
Thought i'd give a little update on my "Ultimate Quest" project.
Have hardly finished any games (not as much as i would have liked) since the last few as i've mostly been playing MMO's.
So far the games i've finished are:
Starship Troopers, Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood and F.E.A.R.
I haven't mention finishing Brothers in Arms on my blog, when i loaded up the game from the last save, i noticed that it was actually the last mission (which i allready finished) so apperantly i had allready finished it but thought i didn't.
According to the rules i made up i can start a new game when i finish 3 games, but i haven't picked a new game to start yet, i feel like i didn't really finish 3 games yet and i really wanna get that list down a bit more.
The current playlist of games to be finished are:
- SpellForce 2
- Crysis
- Unreal Tournament 3
- Hellgate London
- Clive Barker's Jericho
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (incl. Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles)
- Prey
- The Witcher
- SWAT 4
- Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
- Combat Wings: Battle of Britain
- Freelancer
- The Lara Croft Tomb Raider Collection (incl. Tomb Raider Featuring Lara Croft, Tomb Raider 2 Golden Mask, Tomb Raider 3 Adventures of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider IV The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider V Chronicles, Tomb Raider VI The Angel of Darkness)
- Baldurs Gate (incl. Baldurs Gate, Sword of the Coast, Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal)
- Star Wars Republic Commando
- Farcry
- Bioshock
- World in Conflict
- Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
- The Godfather
- Tortuga: Two Treasures
- Darkstar One
- Jade Empire
- Overlord
- Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
- Clive Barker's Undying
- The Hitman Collection (incl. Hitman Codename 47,Hitman 2 Silent Assassin and Hitman Contracts)
- The Longest Journey
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
- Dreamfall
- Half-Life: Blue Shift
- Opposing Force
- Missing Since January
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl
I allready started playing on SpellForce 2 (allready 9 hours into it), but i am thinking of removing that from my computer as i have the SpellForce Universe edition that includes SpellForce 2, but i'd like to start it from SpellForce 1, so i am going to be removing it from the playlist and count it as part of the SpellForce Universe (which includes all 5 games).
The list continues...
PS2
1- Resident Evil 4
2- Manhunt
3- Haunting Ground
4- Resident Evil - Code Veronica X
PSP
1- Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy
2- Star Wars Lethal Alliance
3- Jeanne D'Arc
4- Silent Hill Origins
Xbox 360
1- Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga
2- Mass Effect
3- Test Drive Unlimited
4- Dead or Alive Xtreme 2
My current list of new (unplayed) games are:
PC
- Evidence: The Last Ritual
- Atari Anniversary Edition
- SpellForce Universe (incl. The Order of Dawn, The Breath of Winter, Shadow of the Phoenix, Shadow Wars, Dragon Storm)
- eXperience 112
- Gothic 3
- Timeshift
- F.E.A.R. Extraction Point
- F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate
Xbox 360
- Crackdown
- Burnout Revenge
- Saints Row
My new games list is getting quite big, so i am hoping to get some more games finished in the near future so i can start working on the new games before that list gets out of hands :)

The Ultimate Quest: Finish games
I have a (bad) habit of not finishing games, i am not talking about MMO's or games that have multiplayer or games like Guitar Hero (i did finish it on easy mode though), i am mostly talking about finishing them in singleplayer.
Usually i'll start a game and play it until i get a new game and i'll start playing that and "forget" about previous games. It's not that i don't like them, i just never get around to finishing them and always tell myself that i will finish them later.
I started putting a list together of games that i never really finished, my goal with this is to finish all the games on this list before opening or starting to play a new game, it's probably going to be hard but to not play any new games but the list is getting ridiculously long and i really need to finish them.
I am not sure on how i am going to do this but i think it's at least a good start by not playing any new games until i finish the list..
Anyway here's the list of games i still have to finish:
PC
1- SpellForce 2
2- Crysis
3- Unreal Tournament 3
4- Hellgate London
5- Clive Barker's Jericho
6- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (incl. Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles)
7- Prey

15- Baldurs Gate (incl. Baldurs Gate, Sword of the Coast, Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal)

Looking at this list... well i almost wanne give up before i even started :)
Of course it's always nice to have a few games to choose from when you want to play a game, but this list is just ridiculous, there are games in this list that i haven't touched in months.
So my first step is to get the list down to an acceptable number and first of all finish those games that i haven't touched in months (or longer in some cases).
Below is a list of games that i finished since i started with this:
This list will be updated whenever i finish a game (it will also be removed from the list above.
Finished games:
1- Starship Troopers (PC)

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
Finally found a way to save my progress, apperantly the game does not recognize a 4 gig memory stick, however if i throw a load of junk on the memory stick until 2 gig or less space remains it does recognize the memory stick and i can save my progress.
So i am finally having fun playing the game on my PSP.
I am posting this "solution" because there seem to be quite a few people coming to this blog with a search with the same problem, so here you go :)
Of course this is not a real solution as it should be fixed in a game update!

Lego Star Wars II
Lego Star Wars isn't as much fun on the PSP as i had hoped, the controls work great and it's fun playing but the damn game won't recognize my 4 gb memory stick...
So i can't save it, apperantly you can only save on a memory stick that comes with the bundle, "funny" thing is mine didn't come with a memory stick.
I bought a 4 gig in the hope of never having to buy another stick, seems just to be able to save the game i have to buy yet another memory stick, this really sucks.

More PSP gaming..
I've mostly been playing Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron on my PSP, played through the campaign and played the Galactic conquest, haven't had this much fun playing on a "handheld" since the original Gameboy way back :)
So i am pretty happy with my purchase.
A few other games i ordered for it are:
- Activision Hits Remixed, i think it's gonna be a lot of fun playing the old Atari 2600 games on the PSP (especially playing H.E.R.O.) :)
- Jeanne D'arc, read and heard a lot about it seems to be a pretty good RPG (and i really like to try an RPG on the PSP)
- Star Wars: Lethal Alliance, looked like fun and got a few pretty good reviews (and being a Star Wars fan...)
- Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy, i really like this on the pc, although i think this game will be better with the controls on the PSP (or any other console), to me this game looks like a console game, keyboard play doesn't feel right and i don't like playing this with a joystick, so i think this is going to be a lot of fun on the PSP.
