Tabula Rasa

Went out with my Biotechnician again, this time doing a couple of quests and getting a couple of logos in Wilderness and Divide.
Have now reached level 18.

Went out today with my Biotechnician, did the Minos Caverns and the Caves of Donn instances solo, went pretty easy.
Did reach level 17, almost 18 after this.

Been busy base defending with my commando and she is level 17 now, launchers are great for getting xp, but also get a lot of agro :)
It was lots of fun until i started getting connection problems.

Finally leveled my specialist to level 15 today, now she's a Biotechnician and up another level.
I also cloned at 15 and made a Sapper.

So now my characters are:
Cynheiddon, Ranger lvl 25
Cyn, Commando lvl 15
Mila, Biotechnician lvl 16
Milla, Sapper lvl 15

I figured since i get the clone credits i might as well use them and try out all classes.

Been mostly grinding my Specialist the last two days, who is now level 14.
Having lots of fun defending Landing Zone outpost and the Hydro Plant in Divide.



At this moment i have a lvl 25 Ranger, lvl14 Specialist and a lvl 15 Commando.
Have to say i am having most fun with the Ranger and the Specialist, not liking the Commando that much yet.

Only logged in for a short while, helped in taking Fort Dew back from the bane (and succeeded).
Was lots of fun :)

Chat however was not fun (as usual), more bullshit about TR dying and about how much the game sucks and blah, blah more bullshit.

If you think the game sucks and you're still in there playing, what does that say about you ??, why the hell are you still around ?? Losers!

Went through a couple of more levels of Half-Life Opposing Force, dated but still fun.

Worked a bit on my Specialist, up tp level 10 now.
Also did some base defending at River-base Krimm with my lvl 25 Ranger.

The Ultimate Quest - Update

Thought i'd give a little update on my "Ultimate Quest" project.
Have hardly finished any games (not as much as i would have liked) since the last few as i've mostly been playing MMO's.

So far the games i've finished are:

I haven't mention finishing Brothers in Arms on my blog, when i loaded up the game from the last save, i noticed that it was actually the last mission (which i allready finished) so apperantly i had allready finished it but thought i didn't.

According to the rules i made up i can start a new game when i finish 3 games, but i haven't picked a new game to start yet, i feel like i didn't really finish 3 games yet and i really wanna get that list down a bit more.

Today marks one year of To Worlds Unknown.
Never thought i would keep it going this long, but one year and i am still here :)

Looking back at my archives, it started kind of slow, but eventually i picked up the pace, this post being post 308 so i've been posting quite a bit since February last year, almost posting daily.

Looking forward to another year of posting :)

Tabula Rasa

Played a bit more Tabula Rasa, went to Fort Dew (Palisades) for some base defending, it was close a couple of times where the bane managed to enter Fort Dew, but we managed to kick 'em back out and keep the fort.
Leveled my ranger to 25 now (halfway to 26).

I also worked a bit an my idea for the final build of my sniper and this is what i came up with (for now): Link

Played around a bit in TR, first with my specialist but after a while went back to my Ranger and had a blast fighting at River-base Krimm.

Actually wanted to log into LOTRO but that needed patching (in fact it was still patching after a couple of hours TR), so i started up TR instead :)

Star Wars Galaxies

Logged into SWG and went... fishing on Naboo.
After i visited the little "Ewok festival of love" (yub nub... or maybe i should say: allay loo tu nuv) i went to the waterfalls at Theed and did some fishing.
Managed to catch two more fish for my "The Reel Life" collection and one more for my "Nabooian Angler" collection, plus three more fish that were allready part of my collection.

Only need one type of fish in each of those collections to finish them.

Although fishing can be fun, there were times (after losing several fish in a row) that i felt like taking out a thermal detonater and throw that in the water, just for a little revenge... to "catch 'em all".

World of Warcraft

I played a bit more WoW, level 6 now, but so far i am not that impressed with it.
I am definitely not a fan of the graphics in this game, guess graphics are important to me.
So far it's not "special" enough to me to warrant (yet) another subscription.

However i am going to stick with it, at least until the 10 days are up or until i get really bored with it, but i am gonna give it a go.
Hmm, maybe i was expecting to much..

World of Warcraft

I started a character on WoW today (a night elf hunter), never played it and thought i'd give it a go, so i started on the 10 day trial.

Vanguard

Finally played some Vanguard and i have to say i like it a lot more than EverQuest 2.
Still a lot of fun to play.
I played one of my alts, a level 8 (almost 9) Necromancer and i think that's a lot of fun to play, more fun than playing my main that is a level 14 bard.

EverQuest 2

Logged into EverQuest 2 after not playing it for quite some time.
My main is still at level 20 and she is still in the Commenlands, took me some time getting used to things and finding my way around again.
But i did manage to finish a couple of quests and i am getting close to level 21.

Was actually planning on playing abit of Vanguard, but it seems the servers are down for "some love", figures..

Worked a bit more on my (future) Exobiologist, leveled her up to 9.
So far specialist is a fun class to play.

Rolled a new character today, after reading up on it i though Exobiologist might be a nice class.
So far i am enjoying this path a lot, started from scratch so only level 7 so far.

Did a lot of exploring in Divide, i was still missing a few Logos, now i have all but 1..
Also finally managed to get the last 2 bosses i needed, Queen Stazzle and Splatter.

Also found the last Logos that i needed in Palisades.
Finished up most of my quests in Palisades, which leaves only those damn instances, i am really starting to dislike instances, so i might actually skip those until i actually feel like doing them. Unfortianatly most of them are tied to the storyline or quests..

Played a bit of Tabula Rasa again, finished up a few quests in the Palisades.
Also tried once again to solo Torcastra Prison, but once again ran out of time. I really hate those timed missions as i like to take my time on missions, after all i am working towards sniper, and with missions like this there is just no time to carefully pick your targets and move on, you almost have to charge in.
Taking out those damn mortars take a lot of time with just an emp rifle and lightning, not to mention all the bane walking around them..

Star Wars Galaxies

Started with some space collections after getting a comlink "message" from R2D2, thought i'd be getting a quest but it's just another collection thing, had to shoot down some renegade's, who for some reason did not agro on me..., finished it and got a "space mobile" that looks somewhat cool in my house.

Did get 2 more collections after shooting down some Black Sun ships, that did agro on me and a collection that started with a "flawed" ship part that i looted.

Tabula Rasa

I created a new character on the public test server, think it's going to be fun to test out future patches before they are launched.
Would have been cooler if i had done this earlier though as they had a cool reward for playing on the PTS, but then again playing on a test server is not about the rewards, it's about making sure patches work and are without bugs (and that should be reward enough).

Didn't think it would be fun to start all over again, but i found it a lot of fun to do things over again (like boot camp), although that might change later on :)

Spent some time at Fort Dew defending it against bane attacks, also did a bit of exploring, searching for a specific boss (which i didn't find).
But i did reach level 24 :)

Mass Effect

Been playing some more Mass Effect on the Xbox360, so far i am about 22 hours into it.
Still a fun game to play.

Tabula Rasa

Been exploring and doing missions all over the Palisades, one of them was the Devil's Den, some really nice graphics here.
Also did some base defending/assaulting at Fort Dew and River-Base Krimm.
Worked my way up to level 23.

Spent a lot of time at the Hydro Plant, mostly defending it and on one occasion taking it back from the bane.
Lots of fun and killing, also reached level 21.

Went to the Timora Mines, did all but one quest solo, lots of fun untill....
They announced a server maintenance at 21:00 hours, (Euro)server going down for 2 hours.... on a fucking friday night, best day of the week for playing and they shut down the server, great timing..

They do lots of things to make this game better and then they do stuff like this to screw it up, way to go !!

EDIT: Apparently they announced it on the wrong server.., EU server is still up but all US servers are down..
